It is an invigorating tea, ideal for consumption in the morning or afternoon; however, I would advise against drinking it right before bedtime. It brews quickly and should be prepared using boiling water. If brewed with hot—but not boiling—water, the resulting color will be pale and the flavor rather lackluster.

My husband is the tea drinker in the house, and Earl Grey is his favorite, and this is his favorite Earl Grey. Good flavor, and even though he prefers loose leaf, having teabags is a lot handier when he's at work. Good stuff!
