Worth every penny

The best monitor Asus has ever made. I already bought two for my home and work, and each one has good quality control. Before this, I tried the PG32UQXR, the $1,300 mini-LED quantum dot display, and the QC just disappointed me—the screen was dim on both the left and right edges, and the uniformity was bad. The PG38UQ has good color and color temperature uniformity across the screen, and unlike screens with a quantum dot layer, the image feels natural and clear. The screen size makes all content immersive. For competitive games, I can choose between 25'' and 27'' modes, and the black background around the display area helps me focus even better. I hope this monitor line continues to be updated.

Awesome monitor!

I was trying to decide between getting the PG38UQ or getting the PG42UQ as a part of me wanted OLED. I eventually went with the PG38UQ because 42" is probably a bit too big given my desk space. So far I'm really happy with my purchase. The PG38UQ is great for gaming with a fast refresh rate and G-sync capable. I also use it for work and it has super clear text and is great for office applications. No issues so far and I'm glad I went with the 38" as it fits perfectly on my desk and is about as big as I want to go given my viewing distance. Overall, I couldn't be happier with this monitor.
