To give to the article a little more of the unity of a distinct treatise, I have appended a few pages relating to the boundary controversy with Virginia, which resulted in the establishment of the western end of the line, and the western boundary of Penn sylvania - a subject which holds the key to almost every department of the history of the south-western part of the State.
