Breathable, and water resistant, not a waterproof fabric. Waterproof fabrics tend to trap air and moisture under the fabric, creating mold, , and other problems. - Mold and Solution-Dyed acrylic fabric, not the less expensive Conventional Dye acrylic fabric. The dye is added to the liquid fiber solution, before the yarn or fabric is made. Effective sunscreen protection as they filter high percentages of ultraviolet radiation.
