Simrad GO7 XSR 7" Plotter C-MAP Pro AI 3in1

I wanted an all in one unit to handle navigation and fish finding, as well as a high end look and feel with the ability to expand via the NMEA 2000 network. It does all of that, actually more than I will ever need in my little 20ft fish and ski boat. I do have a couple small things that kept it from 5 stars. One is the start up time. It seems to take forever to startup. Being the first unit Ive tried I don't have a comparison, but I seems like it takes a long time. The second complaint, and something I think can be fixed with an update, or maybe I just don't know how to do it yet, the easy routing, having to place your two points on the chart to have the software calculate your route. I've taken the time to save some waypoints on a few lakes, and once there I tried to navigate to them. The only option I've seen so far is to select Go To on the way point, but all that does is give you a straight line to the waypoint. Why not have the option for easy routing from your current location to the selected waypoint? As intuitive as this unit is, I would think this would be a feature. All in all I do love the GO 7.
