Use a primer

I own three of the mini palettes, and I love them. A matte purple, a shiny purple and gold, and a shiny green and goldy palette. I mix and match to my mood. They're powdery, so knock your brush off after dipping. If I'm using a liquid foundation, to avoid problems from fallout, I'll prime my skin, and then, do my eyes, followed by foundation and concealer if I'm using that! As long as you prime your lids, the color will last a good 12 hours. Not bad for a drug store shadow. Maybelline is killing it lately.

Love The City Mini !!!

I have six of these and I absolutely love them! I find all of them to be better than any so-called "high-end palettes " I have tried. Application and last is great, as well as pigments. I find the price point to be reasonable. My two fave go-to's are Rooftop Bronzes and Diamond District. Honestly you can't beat them. Maybelline don't discontinue them !!!

Awesome shades but one runs out too fast

Been using these for years. My only question is, is there any way to find out what the shade code/names are for certain colors within the palette so I can try to find a bigger version of just one color on Maybelline's website?? I always run out of one of the colors that I use most…
