I liked the railroad back and the white part of the chairs and how they matched my kitchen shutters. However, I did not like that. I received the chairs with two cracked rods that went on the bottom part of the each of two chairs and one of the rods was discolored. This affected two of the chairs Walmart customer service was very unyielding. I did not want to return the chairs because I had already gotten rid of my other chairs and my daughter was having a wedding. I wanted the chairs in my home for that reason. The remedies that Walmart customer service suggested were unacceptable. They wanted me to take down, repackage and return the chairs to a Walmart. I did not have the tools or the capacity to take to take the chairs down. Besides, I had paid a contractor $200.00 to set up the chairs. The chairs were expensive. Therefore, I expected quality merchandise. I requested some type of discount and I would keep the chairs as is and try to repair them with wood putty, and then paint the two chairs that were affected, I asked for half credit refund on those two chairs, to me which seemed reasonable. I was only offered a 20% discount which amounted to $68.00 for chairs that I spent a grand total of $690,00. This was not good. I was also offered a $25.00 promotion code. However, in order to use the promotion code, you have to spend over $45.00. Throughout my attempts to purchase these chairs, I have been inconvenienced, left on hold numerous times,and given misinformation. The customer service was poor. Once when I called, I was told that the computers were down. They kept me on hold and nothing was ever resolved during any of my numerous calls. if Walmart is convenient for me to use and I can get something from there quickly and at a fair price, I will use Walmart. However, I will never place a large order from Walmart again. Seriously, customer service is deplorable. Please try to use US call centers. There was a language barrier in most of the cases, when I spoke to someone.
