sturdy chassis, weak loader
My wife got on it right away before I could tell her its not rated for her weight. It held up fine though. My 3 year old fits perfect on itbut the controls are a bit over their heads. In order to put the bbucket down, you have to pull back on both levers and then push down which is not intuitive for 3 year olds. The plastic piece that prevents you from pushing both levers forward to put the bucket down, appears as though it will break soon with kids forcing the bucket down.

Nice Little Riding Toy
My grandson wanted a pedal tractor after seeing one on a Curious George program. I looked it up online and found the Kalee tractor, ordered it for his birthday, and he very much likes it. He is a small five year old and fits the tractor very well, although this is probably the only year it will work for him. He can pedal it easily on the drive way and in the grass and loves picking up sand and dirt with the bucket. A little pricey for a plastic pedal toy, but if the grandson likes it and uses it, then it is worth every penny! I must say though, that the lever for lifting the bucket locks into place to hold the bucket up, but the lever seems to stick in place when lowering the bucket from that position.
