We purchased these when we first got our little Man-Man when he was just over a pound at 3 months, the little runt of the littler. At first we didn't think he could climb them but he took them on as a personal challenge to be with my husband when he's sitting on the couch. He was a little wobbly at first, but he climb them like a champion. As small as he was the rounded edges made it a lot easier for him to climb. I'm so happy we bought these pet stairs, and it helps that the color matches our couch.
