The Tigerwall UL 1 is a great option to reduce weight and pack space. I used to have the UL 2 for solo trips because of the extra room that it afforded relative to the weight. I found that the UL1 still had plenty of space for 1 and the vestibule was ample for a 65L pack and shoes so I traded in. The tent stays dry in rain and with wet ground underneath. The set up is really quick with the single pole design. I ditched the stakes and use sticks on the trail to save a bit more weight. The tri-pod design allows me to pitch on rock in a pinch. Even though the corners need to be staked out during rain, I usually find myself doing the lazy pitch in good weather (no stakes and just let the BA Q-Core SLX pad push out the bottom corners). When there is rain, and the tent is fully staked out, I notice that there's a bit of sag on the fly after a few hours. Since the bottom two corners aren't adjustable, to get it taught again requires one to re-stake the corners. I know that this is an issue for some but I don't really think it's a big deal and frankly I don't bother to stretch it back out. It hasn't affected my sleep whatsoever. It can be an arm stretch to fully zip the fly close but luckily, I have simian arms. For the one or two minor drawbacks to the Tigerwall, I still think it's one of the best tents on the market. I've been more than pleased with it and don't see myself trading in until it's in tatters.
