Section dry hair evenly, and comb each section. Position the iron on the hair as far up as you want hair to be styled, being careful not to let the iron touch the scalp. Close the iron with the hair between the two plates and hold for 5–7 seconds. Release the iron and move down the hair section to the next position you want to style, repeating the above process.
