Read the strength of the magnification.

I made the mistake and did not noticing the strength of the magnification, 70 pounds. I bought this for a kitchen cabinet and turns out it's way too strong for that purpose. As a remedy, I put a piece of brown packing tape over both the magnet and the plate so it lessened the grip somewhat. The installation is just common sense although I would have liked there to be some method for lining up the magnet and the plate due to the fact that once the cabinet door is closed, you cannot see where to place both. The look of it is utilitarian and simple, but the silver finish is nice. I never quite understood what the brown stickers were for?
