Of course my son wanted to be the mayor, not something common like Jack Skellington LOL. This was the only mayor accessory kit I could find, and it really was perfect. The hat is huge! So you might need to add a dowel to the middle of it to keep it from flopping over. But all in all, I was very lucky to have found this accessory kit

Sally May Need a New Do

This review is for the Sally costume based on the movie “The Nightmare Before Christmas”. I was afraid this outfit would be too small based on some of the sizing charts I was seeing. I tried to order other costumes (due to this concern) from Amazon and the delivery kept getting delayed past Halloween so I was getting upset and had to cancel those previous Amazon orders. I was left with this option. I’m glad it worked out that way, because I like this costume. I’m 5’8” and 180 lbs. It fits beautifully. It seems to be a well-made costume. The costume is stitched well, could be worn for years and not just rip after one use. My concern is that the material isn’t very breathable. I was getting hot fairly quickly inside, but this is great for Trick-or-Treating on a cold night (which is usually the case where I’m from). It may be uncomfortable to wear this costume to a party held inside though. I knew this came with a yarn wig and read it was terrible and wouldn’t stay in place, so I also ordered another wig. I actually like the look of the yarn wig, but it’s not very full (you see the skull cap) and other reviews were accurate in saying it’s difficult to keep in place on top of your head. I’m not experienced with wearing wigs so I will have to see if I can learn more about fastening it to my head somehow. I’m happy with this purchase.
