Broil King 'Not' Stainless Roasting Pan
I bought this because I had been looking for a stainless roasting pan this size. Unfortunately the first time I used it in a 400F oven, it discoloured. The food that was roasting on the pan wasn't even in contact with the pan; I had it lined with parchment paper. Stainless should not discolour. Upon noticing the discolouration I tried the magnet rule of thumb; if a magnet sticks to a pot or pan, then it either isn't stainless or has a high steel content. The pan held the magnet. I wasn't in the market for another steel piece of garbage and the price I paid should have reflected good quality stainless. I'm extremely disappointed. What happened to honesty in the industry?!
