I ordered from Walmart a standard Cub Cadet bagging kit with two grass/leaf bags for my 42 inch XT2 lawn tractor. The large box was shipped quickly and was placed at my door in just a few days. Assembly of the parts and the installation were slow due to the manufacturer's instructions having been poorly written with very small images and inadequate identification of the parts before being instructed to place or do something with that named, but not identified part. YT videos were viewed for a couple of assembly steps that I just couldn't quite understand from the instructions. Connecting to the mower deck was an unexpected breeze with a really smart design compared to my previous bagger. When I got it together I already had a yard full of leaves. The clear tube feeding the leaves from the mower deck to the bags was a big help, although it was difficult to see the fast moving leaves in the tube while driving along. It didn't take long before the tube was full of leaves. I disengaged the blades and got off to check the status of the bags. The latching device that holds the cover over the bags was VERY difficult to open. The leaves were piled up above the top of one bag , but the other was only half full, so getting off to check it was probably worthwhile. I packed down and divided the leaves so that both had nearly equal amounts after reaching into the tube to remove as much of the jammed up leaves as I could reach. The mower's government- inspired procedure required to go in reverse with the blades turning was not too bad at first, but by the eighth time it was getting tiresome and frustrating. The mower did a good enough job of picking up the leaves, but a portion of them was blown to the right side and didn't make it into the bagger. For best results I had to keep the leaf-covered ground to my right. Emptying the load began with disengaging the blade again and yanking for all I was worth to get the cover's latch to budge. If the latch handle had been a couple of inches long so that I could get a hold and some leverage it would have been much easier. The bags were easy to remove. Even though my setup had only two bags, with each trip to dump, there was a substantial amount of leaves. On this first day I found that dumping the bags had one little glitch. After lifting the bag out you must reach down to locate a strap on the bottom of the bag and grab it in order to empty the bag. On two of my trips to the dumping pile, I noticed that the clear feed tube was full from the deck all the way to the top of the tube. Reaching in did allow the removal of some of the leaves, but there were still lots of leaves in the bottom half of the tube. The collar joining sections of the tube allowed me to pull out the tightly-packed leaves from the bottom section. That was really helpful. So, the bottom line is that the Cub Cadet bagger has a few flaws, but it works, with some features better than I had expected.
