    Looks great, but requires power drill.

    I love this head board. It has a hard wood look without the hard wood price. I did have issues assembling this product because it stated I just needed a phillips screw driver. I tried to use a manual driver but, because it seems like there are a billion holes to drill it just resulted in hand cramps. I also had issues with drill hole positions. You have to match up the drill holes in order to secure the parts together. The problem is the holes are so small and the parts so dense and heavy that you will have difficulty matching the holes up. All in all this product is amazing. As long as you have a power drill and someone that can guide you while drilling you will get this put together in less than an hour.

    Beautiful Headboard

    The Ameriwood Home Vaughn Full/Queen Headboard is a rustic headboard with slats and laminate to appear to be rustic gray oak. It arrived in a flat box and it was too heavy for one person to lift. It is comprised of MDF and particle board. This headboard can be used for either full or queen sizes. Although beautiful to look at, the headboard had some issues. The slats pulled away from the base and left nails sticking out on two separate slats. It took some strategic hammering to get the pieces back in place without damaging the finish. Even though they are now loose you can not tell from looking at the headboard. The instructions did not exactly line up with the holes and items in the box. This piece is laminated and you can tell on the edges. The price is consistent with other pieces made out of this material. Only time will tell how it holds up to cleaning and normal wear and tear. Overall it is a nice headboard. The gray is a pretty color and will go with most furnishings.
