Beautiful bed, I ordered 2! Quick and easy assembly. Love the storage space under the bed, if needed. An 8in-10in mattress will be a great addition without covering too much of the headboard. If ordering for younger children, it's great to know that the mattress slides out of alignment with movement/sitting) and the footboard corners can be a hazard.
