OLD TIRES sold as new.

Bought a set of tires online; seemed like a good deal. Scheduled installation at my local store and when they arrived I checked two of the tires looking at the DOT date. Both of them were from Sept 2024 which is fairly normal I thought. Once I got my car back and drove home I had to clean the wheels since they left a bunch of grease stains on them as well as the tires and that's when I noticed the two tires I did not inspect were from May 2020 which is almost 6 years. I went back to the store to express my concern with those two tires. They said they should be ok and I shouldn't be concerned about it. Most shops will not service a tire over 10 years old so that means if these tires make it four years then they will be done. I feel they could have been upfront about it, especially when they saw me inspecting the DOT on a couple of them.
