Dell Desktop Computers, Intel Core i7, 16GB, 2TB HD, 240GB SSD, DVD (Restored)

When I first saw the refurbished PC listed on the Walmart website, I thought it was a good deal. The advertisement boasted a fast, gaming-ready machine for only$240.00 $260.28 total. We weren't interested in gaming, but we needed a safe, clean, and speedy PC because our main HP pc was getting fixed. My wife was going to be needing a computer for her work, so this seemed like the perfect solution. WOW was I ever wrong!!!!! The PC arrived on July 16 I unboxed it and set it up. Well GUESS WHAT?. The computer wouldn't boot up. Worse still, I could hear a noise coming from inside the case. Upon closer inspection, I found that wires were touching the CPU fan blade, causing the noise. To get the PC running, I tried calling the phone number on the computer, and the one on the card that came with the packaging. Both were useless. The call would go through, and an automated message would instruct me to press 2 for technical help. After pressing 2, I was redirected to a voicemail asking for my name and phone number with a promise that someone would call me back. Days passed, and I heard nothing. As the days turned into weeks, my frustration has grew. It is now August 4, and I still have not received any response from CERTIFIED Refurbished LLC. ***BEWARE**** Walmart's Lack of Assistance Seeking further assistance, I reached out to Walmart, hoping they could help resolve this because I felt I should not have to pay full price for something that was not working when I got it, plus I had to get another person involved to get it going. Unfortunately, Walmart was no help at all. They offered a $15 as compensation, "IF" I spend $25.00 or more!!! I mean at this point you almost have to laugh! But I am ticked OFF! And $15.00 which didn't come close to covering the inconvenience and additional costs I incurred to get the PC running. My wife couldn't wait any longer for a functional PC, so I hired a friend who was tech-savvy to help. He came over and looked at the machine, he confirmed that the only solution was to reinstall Windows 10. It was a simple fix for him, but I do not have the means to do all of that! The ADD SAID IT WAS READY AND FAST! Spending $260.28 on a used Windows 10 PC that was advertised as fast for gaming but wouldn't even boot up felt like a slap in the face. We didn't care about the gaming aspect; we just wanted a reliable PC. Instead, we got a headache and poor customer service. I haven't heard a single word from CERTIFIED Refurbished LLC since I first reached out. And only one email from WalMart that meant nothing apparently! Just escalation to another person! WalMart is worse than the GOVERMENT! I've learned my lesson. If our main PC ever fails again, I will steer clear of this place. To warn others, I'll be posting my experience on social media. I hope everyone sees this and thinks twice before purchasing from them.
