Definitely recommended!!! (but need to be a bit mechanically inclined for assembly)

I convinced my department to get this desk for me as we have a bunch of old tabletops. I am SO happy they did it.Assembly was do-it-yourselfer quality; if you aren't pretty handy you won't want to buy this or get someone else to assemble it I didn't have any problems.I've had it about 3 months now and LOVE it. the electronic up-down makes changing the height super simple. It has 3 pre-sets and it goes to them perfectly level every time for me. I can switch between them so easily I can switch from up to down with the exact same location every time quickly with ease. I have one preset for standing up, one preset for sitting down and doing serious typing, and one preset for sitting down when I am being slouchy in my chair and thinking more than typing. My only recommendation is to consider getting one of the ergonomic pads for your feet. I don't have one and wish I did. A piece of carpet helped.

It is high quality and works well with my 42"x72" table top weighing 75 lbs. Lowest and highest positions are more than adequate. Instructions call for drilling mounting holes into the bottom of the table top before assembling stand and placing table top on the stand. I concluded that I would not be able to find the pre-drilled mounting holes. I drilled screw holes with tabletop on the assembled stand. C-clamps are required to hold the top and frame while drilling.

A+ quality and product.

The quality of this product is beyond expectations! Very high quality, heavy duty. You will kick yourself for not getting it sooner. If you work at a PC all day, get this ordered right away. I programmed the 3 quick set buttons ones from standing height, one for sitting and one for kneeling. I used a pine 1.5" thick 29" x 60" top bought separately from another vendor. Amazing combination. The only thing I feel they could have improved on it is the communication cables included for connecting controller to the drive motors. REMEMBER: The touch screen display goes to sleep after 5mins of inactivity. Press and hold the M button on display for 5 secs until the 3 horizontal lines become numbers. Then you can press the programmable buttons or up and down arrows. I originally thought my controller was bad but I was simply not waking it up.
