This unique charcoal, called Binchotan, is much harder than barbecue charcoal and holds onto impurities like chlorine, whilst adding good minerals (like potassium) back to your water. If used daily (to filter up to 34 oz of water), each charcoal stick will last 6 months. You’ll notice the difference in taste after 1 hour of adding it to your jug or bottle, but for best results, we advise leaving overnight. The charcoal refills are pre-washed and vacuum sealed so are ready to use immediately. They fit all Black+Blum bottles and carafes, but can also be used any jug or bottle. This four pack will last you 2 years if each charcoal is used daily in any bottle or carafe up to 34 oz.
