Monarch Hill Poppy Nightstand, Peach

This little night stand was offered up by the Walmart Spark Reviewer program and my wife and I agreed it would be perfect for our grandchild's bedroom and after assembling, it indeed was. We've assembled quite a few furniture pieces and I have to say this was by far the easiest. It took me one hour from unboxing to the finished product. The pieces fit very well and very snug which made it nice and sturdy. The night stand itself is made from processed wood fiber, except for the drawer bottom which is lite ply. The wood fiber is very dense which makes it quite heavy for its size and I don't see much of a chance for tipping over accidentally. It does include a bracket in back for mounting it against a wall absolutely preventing a tip over. I do recommend using a mallet instead of a hammer for installing the wooden dowels as they could easily be shattered by a hammer and that would really ruin your day. A mallet also comes in handy for persuading a tight fitting piece to go into place without marring a surface. I'm not a real fan of do-it-yourself furniture assembly, but this was actually quite simple. The instructions are pretty clear and all pieces of the puzzle are marked either with a label, or an ink marker on them. I wish all these kit form furniture would go together as easy as this night stand did. Bottom line is, it builds right and looks great.
