Teens and Husband approve

I don't like zombies. However, my husband and teens love the Resident Evil series. Games, movies, animated films. All of it. The movie is engaging, with a fast moving storyline and characters they will talk about for days and even weeks. The animation is good in a dark way, and the story does grab you. I'm not much into the canon behind Resident Evil, but my teens says this pairs well and goes right along with the rest of the series, offering a slightly different perspective while maintaining the basic story of the overall Resident Evil universe.

I had a couple of this series, but I needed to get the rest of them. I now have a great series of movies . This will be a great day of following the story. The movies are new and in great shape. bad weather is coming, and now I can hunker down and enjoy.

RE Team is going to Alcatraz !

It's definitely one of the better Resident Evil CGI movies. The movie starts Leon, Claire, Chris, Jill, Rebecca, zombie tourists, super lickers, super shark whales, and one bad @%23%23 monster as big as a warehouse on the happy death island of Alcatraz. The mystery of how people were becoming zombies without being bit and how Jill and the antagonist reacted to guilt in different ways were interesting plots. Heavy action, quick pace, and overall entertaining. You don't have to watch previous RE movies before this one, but it would make more sense. There was so much sarcasm, though, that it was sometimes hard taking the movie seriously sometimes (but I do understand it's the characters' defense mechanism when put in high stress situations). Or maybe the movie itself isn't taking itself too seriously. Overall, it's a great and unregrettable buy for RE or even horror fans. Just wish there were licker scenes :p
