Chevy Ignition Switch

I recently had to replace the ignition switch on my daughter's ‘00 Cavalier. The price was ridiculously cheap compared to our local parts stores. More than $35 less! Free Shipping and the part arrived a day early! The online How To Video for reference made it an easy swap taking less than 30 minutes! Thank You 1aauto!!!!

It works

I sure appreciate the helpful videos on 1AAuto and the detailed installation instructions. Most importantly, the bit of info that told me Chevy uses an E4 external star nut on their ignition switches. The hardest part of the job was removing the rear nut (there are only 2 holding it on ) as it was tucked behind the switch and needed a swivel socket and some finagiling to get the socket on it.The switch worked perfectly and didn't mess with the anti theft settings. Another fine repair with the help of 1AAuto.
