Lack of information is reflected in old ways of doing things, no competitive position and a high level of dependency on other communities. Migration of rural dwellers to urban areas, with resulting problems of unemployment, crimes, prostitution, child labour, insecurity, money laundering, bribery, poverty, proliferation of scanty living areas, spread of diseases etc. The provision of information services in Nigeria has been dispersed and access to various information services has become more difficult; the principal victims of these development has been the rural people due to the economic and information poverty.
