after installation , Cartridge would only release warm water, not hot. It leaked water behind shower wall. , then left tub spout dripping for at lear 3 minutes. It didnt leak when off. Not my 1st, 2nd, 3rd , but 4th repair on 2 Pfister tubs. pipes were pre-flushed, cleaned dried, cartridge O rings silicone greased, all done to specs. the Danco parts appear to have quality issues, hit, and miss. seems they last a few days, a month a year or 2 years. Seemd the original brand name, which are hard to find last longer.
