I love these stair treads and I'm so happy I purchased them. We are selling our 100 year old house next month and I've always felt that our stairs look like basement stairs, they are very utilitarian and not very attractive. Adding these stair treads really made them pretty and gave them a modern flair. We have an odd shaped stair, second from the top that I had to cut the tread for to keep it in line with the rest of the treads. I added a little glue just to keep the carpet from unraveling and it looks great. I started to measure the stairs but between the first stair at the bottom and the third stair at the bottom there was a quarter inch difference in the width and I didn't feel like doing the math for all of the stairs so I just eyeballed the treads and they came out great.
