This light is extremely well made and very detailed. It is far more beautiful in person. The room has a more cozy, warm and vintage feel to it. I like to swap out light fixtures every so many years but, this is a definite forever keeper. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

After searching for a long time for just the light for our entry way I found this lantern style light and had to have it. It has a rustic distressed white finish which is made of steel. Its is solid and heavy at around 15 lbs. The glass is an antique seeded glass giving it an old look. There are two doors that open for easy changing of the bulbs. This light uses 2 candelabra base bulbs up to 60 watts. I am using an Edison style candelabra bulb. The body of the light is 18 inches tall and 8 ½ inches wide. It comes with the wiring, 72-inches chain and a decorative 7-inch ceiling plate that matches the light. I like that this light could be used as an entry light, pendent light or even on an enclosed porch to give a coastal look. I am using this in my farm style décor, and it has just enough of the distressed finishes and bubble glass to fit perfectly. The only issue we had was we need to use a ceiling fan bracket to give the light good support. But the light itself took just about 20 minutes to install. This lamp is so beautiful.
