It is a lifesaver!! I have a little boy (2 yrs old) and he isn't scared of the water, he will jump in on a split second!! My (37 lb) 3.5 y/o had not been in a deep pool for a while and this helped with her panicked feeling of not being able to touch. You definitely need to be within arms’ length at all times. It was a little too big for my 23 lb 19 mo old. Also, the llama print is seriously the cutest.
