The Continental ContiSportContact 5 SSR is for high performance on sports cars, coupes and sedans, and has the added protection of a Run Flat tire.
This tire is commonly found as the original equipment tire on sporty cars and even luxury SUVs. The Continental Tire Engineers have improved the features and benefits of this tire compared to ContiSportContact 3. They used a new compound named “BlackChilli” that has excellent grip but with lower rolling resistance. This tire features shorter braking distances in adverse weather and poor driving conditions.
