We had to replace our main landline due to a severe storm and power searches. This is a great phone, and it works just fine. My only concern is that the original description about it said that you could add on handsets. However, we did not find out until we received this new phone and read the manual, to discover that it was only a few particular models of handsets that you could add on. When I went out to their website to find out what they were, the model recommended for our new phone wasn't available at all. The bottom line is, I needed two additional handsets, but I could not get them. So we are keeping this phone as a back up (in case we have to replace our landline again), and I had to buy another Panasonic model that included two additional handsets. It all worked out, but the experience was annoying, and it cost us more than we wanted to spend.
