That was the reason others rated it 1 star! THERE IS A FIX!! After my 4th try, didn't want to throw my money away, I learned that IT IS BEST to start with a SMALL PEA Size. DO NOT spread the paste on the whole toothbrush!!!! less is more! It is strong that is why it cause the unpleasant film in your mouth! You only need a small pea size! This is so much cost effective and will last you so much longer too! I'm a 20 years Aquafresh long term user and let me tell you once I switched to this one, it was a whole world difference! My breathe is amazing and it last so long too! I dont bleed as often as I did before when brushing. The correct toothpaste does matter! $1 vs $3 there is a difference!
