I already had the B&D 40V hedge trimmer and this was an easy decision to purchase this trimmer. I have a Gas trimmer but sometimes there are only a couple of spots needing some touch up and I can grab this light weight tool and go. I love the variable speed motor and the easy to adjust handle.

Great trimmer that can be bought without battery

Glad this was sold without the battery. I finally burnt out my previous trimmer of the same type, and I already have 2 batteries having bought a new battery just a month ago. This trimmer is great. Lightweight…easy for me to use as an older woman. It extends, so it's long enough to save my back, as I'm tall and bending while trimming can really aggravate my lower back. It handles tough weeds in our rural yard. Love this trimmer!
