I had reservations about this air purifier based on some of the reviews. I took a chance and I am glad that I did. It does take a little while to get any funky smells out of a room. Roughly three hours BUT I use mine in a 900 sq ft apartment because my upstairs neighbor has a cat that smells terrible the ammonia stench is awful. This air purifier works wonders for that! I also noticed that I don't have to dust as often as I used to. The purifier is a little noisy on the highest fan setting but I will take a little noise over rot gut neighbor smell any day!!!!

Levoit Air Filter Collects the Dust!

It is bigger than you think.. fits nicely on the floor. If you have it on night mode, it is very quiet. Can visibly see the dust and hair on the outside, so you know it is “collecting” it in the filter. Wipes off easily. We have used a compressor to blow out the filter to last longer before replacing it..It really does help with the allergies in our bedroom at night. This is our second one, My husband wanted one for his office in the finished basement.
