The Sumitomo Encounter HT tire is a long-mileage highway tire that combines outstanding dry road handling with wet-traction performance for safety in any weather. It is a reliable all-season tire with a sturdy five-rib design and lots of lateral grooves and tread sipes for extra traction in deep water and even light snow. The tire features an extra durable internal construction and wear-resistant rubber compound that can handle the abuse and heat generated by overloading and in high scrub urban applications when used on commercial vans and pickup trucks.
The Sumitomo Encounter HT tire is ideal for the daily commuter or for any commercial application or work truck. With the strong casing to protect against road hazards, and low price, this tire represents excellent value and a smart investment.
