Frontier® Organic Psyllium, also known as blonde psyllium, is a low-growing herb native to Iran, Pakistan and India. It is the main ingredient in the commercial dietary supplements "Metamucil" and "Citrucel." Psyllium is most commonly known and used for its high mucilage content. Excellent!
I use this soluble fiber found in psyllium husks to help lower cholesterol, relieve digestive issues caused by irritable bowel syndrome, and to help regulate blood sugar levels. High quality, organic ingredient, clumpy in water but mixes well in smoothies, oats and when used in baking.

Easy to swallow
Frontier's psyllium husk is easy to mix and swallow. Taste seems fresh compared to other brands and it works on my gut. Good quality and organic. I have used this to make seeded crackers too. I also like the packaging..better for environment than plastic container!
