Colour Elixir Lip Liner - # 04 Pink Princess by Max Factor for Women - 1.2 g Lip Liner

I've been buying this lip liner for years, and the older version was fantastic. It used to be made from a dense, smooth black material that sharpened cleanly and never splintered. It felt solid, high-quality, and reliable—everything you'd expect from Max Factor. Unfortunately, in the last couple of years, they've switched to a much cheaper wood. It's light, brittle, and splinters terribly when you try to sharpen it—often ruining the tip completely. The product breaks off or crumbles, and it's nearly impossible to get a clean point. To make things worse, the formula seems to have changed too. The color isn't as rich or vibrant, and the texture doesn't apply as smoothly. It's incredibly disappointing to see such a once-great product decline due to cost-cutting. I've had to look for alternatives, but nothing really compares to how good this used to be. A real shame.

Like all other reviews, Useless! as unable to sharpen. No instructions to say how to sharpen it. I tried a small pencil sharpener and the outer was so tough it wouldn't twist to sharpen. I tried a scalpel and again too tough even for that. Did anyone from Max Factor actually test this before marketing?
