It’s not made to lay on and I hate that! The instructions are simple and concise. I was able to put it together with my 8 year old daughter in about 40 min. All the holes matched up! Hardware present and accounted for! Pretty sturdy little chair for the price. I think it’s adorable! I purchased this for a kids bedroom, but this would also make great college kid/just starting out apartment furniture, plus the additional sleeping space! Good buy!

Super Multifunctional Chair. Great Buy!

I put this sleeper chair together myself while no one was home. It came in a large heavy box. It was carried by 2 men from the shipping truck. I'm small so I had to scoot and slide the box around on our wood floor. The hardest part was getting the pieces out of the box and lastly attaching the slide out part of the chair with the screws. Putting the other parts together was not difficult after thoroughly looking at the pictures of how to assemble. It was a bit tricky but I did it! I did notice a tiny little snag in the fabric near the edge if the seat. But it was so small that I didn't want to send it back. I love this chair and that it can function as a chair, chaise, or single sleeper. The lumbar pillow is not attached so it can be moved if you want. I have it in the chair with an accent pillow. The cushion seat and back are firm but will soften up, I'm sure with use...just like my futon has done. Everyone that has seen it just loves it and how funtional it is. The pullout slides out easily into the chaise or sleeper position. I like it so much that I might purchase another one. It matches my futon and can comfortably seat most average size people. ( my friends/ family). I checked the inner seat dimensions before I purchased to be sure. It looks great in the livingroom!
