Children’s ZYRTEC liquid is a 24-hour allergy medicine for kids. It is a dye free syrup that is also sugar free, alcohol free, and comes in a grape flavor. This children’s allergy medicine comes in an 8-ounce bottle with a handy measuring cap and is suitable for ages 2 years and older. A once-daily dose of this children’s allergy medicine relieves symptoms triggered by more than 200 different indoor and outdoor allergens. A 5-ml dose contains 5 mg of cetirizine HCL, an antihistamine that temporarily relieves sneezing, runny nose, itchy, watery eyes and itching of the nose or throat. Children’s ZYRTEC dose recommendations vary with age, so use product only as directed. This medicine works all day and night and is the Number 1 pediatrician recommended children’s allergy brand among children’s OTC oral antihistamines. Ask a doctor before use if you have liver or kidney disease. Your doctor should determine if you need a different dose. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are taking tranquilizers or sedatives. When using this product, drowsiness may occur, avoid alcoholic drinks, alcohol, sedatives, and tranquilizers may increase drowsiness, be careful when driving a motor vehicle or operating machinery. Stop use and ask a doctor if an allergic reaction to this product occurs. Seek medical help right away. If pregnant or breast-feeding: if breast-feeding: not recommended; if pregnant: ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children.
