Futura by Hawkins Hard Anodized 5.0 Litre Pressure Cooker

I bought this about 15 days ago. The product itself looks a bit different from pictures. In pictures it looks more black while its actually a bit dark grey. But its a genuine product from Futura. Its different from other cookers I have used before from Hawkins in that it maintains a constant pressure of 15 psi which means it whistles slowly but continuously after it reaches the required pressure. So you have to note the time from when it starts to whistles and cook accordingly instead of counting the whistles. Another benefit is that it comes with a cooking recipe book which tells you the required cooking time for almost all Indian recipes. So you don't need to bother about anything. The cooking is perfect because it maintains a good pressure and don't go too high which allows the food to to be cooked without absorbing too much water. This protects the curry from getting too thick. Its much more costly than the aluminum Hawkins model available at Walmart but its worth every penny. Its easy to use, clean and maintains a good taste consistently. Its also made of good quality hard anodized steel which allows it to withstand the high temperature of electric stoves used in Canada without getting any form of damages. TOTALLY RECOMMENDED!
