Apply to lips and cheeks 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply after 40 minutes of swimming or sweating and immediately after towel drying. Reapply at least every two hours. For sheer color, use fingertips to lightly dab color onto skin. For fuller color, apply directly onto skin, or layer on as needed. this is on the expensive side. it is dryer than a lip stick probably so it stays on. . but it is PERFECT for what it was made for. it is a gorgeous color lip sun screen that is water proof. i have not had 1 sun blister since using this product. it lookd great in my pool pictures. i just wish they would lower the prices so i can afford to get all the colors. if you are serious about sun protection and swimming... this IS the best product i have found.
