Most carpet shampoos for pets never get rid of the smells and actually clean the carpet. I tested this one to another leading brand. Stuart's blow the name brand away. Stuart's not only cleaned the carpet, but it also got the smell out. I highly recommend this product. If you have spot on your carpet that your pet repeatedly marks. Fill a spray bottle with approximately 1/3 Stuart's and the rest with water. Adjust it to a heavy spray and dampen the carpet. Let that set and then shampoo the carpet. That is what I did and I was amazed at the results.
