This Antenna meets all the requirements of an Antenna for a Power Boat. My Standard Horizon GPS / VHF Combo works great with this Antenna. It has an Impedance of 50 OHMS and Between 6 to 9 DB. If your looking for a reasonable priced antenna , this 8 ft Fiberglass Whip is perfect for any size Power Boat.
