Approximately 33mm long closed and 52mm long with piston fully extended. 7mm in diameter. Slightly smaller than a standard international cartridge when closed and slightly longer when the piston is elongated. Diameter: 7 mm. Note: The piston cannot be fully extended inside a Sport AL pen.

The converter AND the Kaweco fountain pen are some of the best I have used in my 60 years of using fountain pens. Some companies have switched from being made in the U.S.A. to being made in China and they aren't what they used to be. Kaweco is built in Germany and has retained their quality.
