Minka-Aire F753-WHF, Java Flat White 54" Outdoor Ceiling Fan with Remote Control

I purchased this Ceiling fan and light for an 9 foot hight celing and its perfect (without any additinal rods). It was to replace a common brand name found at big box stores that was so loud you couldn't use it. This one is super quiet and works well. We also bought the wall switch and they work well together. THis comes with a remote and you can turn eveyrthing off from the bed. I had an experienced contractor install the fan - he is an electrcian and did all the rewiring of this 1906 house so he came back to install the fan. He said getting the remote box/control / part into the fan base (near the ceiling) was super hard and that he could not get the fan base flush with it in there. This was a small thing and if he hadn't pointed out the very small gap between the base of the fan near the cieling I wouldn't have noticed it.
