I picked up the Aquaphor Lip Repair Balm Stick after trying several other options that never seemed to last. This one has been the most reliable for keeping my lips comfortable throughout the day. The texture goes on smoothly without feeling waxy, and it doesn't leave any shine, which makes it easy to use at work or before the gym. The shea butter formula feels soothing right away, and I noticed less dryness within a couple of days. I like that it stays on longer than most balms I've used, so I'm not constantly reapplying. The two pack is convenient to keep one at home and one in my bag. The only minor drawback is that it can wear down quickly if you use it several times a day. Even with that, it has been the best option I've tried for consistent moisture and overall comfort.

I have been using the Aquaphor lip balm stick for several years now and am not likely to change that. Traditional Chapstick and others like it, including Carmex, always make my lips flake and peel unless I use the stuff every few minutes. With this one, I use it two or three times a day during winter (it's extra-dry in winter here) and maybe once or twice a day in the summer. It's not greasy or oily but still keeps my lips moist when the atmosphere is doing its best to dry them out. It's a little pricier than the others but is well worth it, especially since one stick lasts quite a long time.
