light not very bright

I,, live in desert and it can get pretty dark outside. This light on strobe, might be okay for riding a bike, but other than that I was disappointed. the quality is a 5,6. the light, I guess depending on what your using it for, was not very bright. I wouldn't go camping with it. the light casing itself seemed cheap and thin plastic, I was afraid if I dropped it once it would break. you know the ones you buy at harbor freight, this is slightly better.
