Great look, poor function

I love the look of this drain, but the drain cover is terrible at catching hair, and there is no catcher beneath the strainer. Now I have to go buy some additional product to ensure I don't have plumbing issues down the line, and that product will likely obscure the drain itself! It's a little frustrating to say the least. No complaints about water drainage or other function but the strainer has two jobs, let water in, keep hair out, and it's only doing one of these.

have to do a pre slope

great quality, but you have to do a perslope. if threaded drain wasnt beveled you could do a sealed in design. but the bevel puts you 1 in higher than the drain so doing a preslope is twice the work
