Deal of the Decade!

I'm so happy I found this bed! I was wanting to add storage, and my daughter has had an IKEA version for years, so I figured this was a good deal so what the heck! I'm really happy with the look and feel and the metal inner frame. I'm a “mature” woman, but was able to assemble by myself except for the very last step adding the lift springs. The fabric is much nicer than expected and I'm just thrilled! I've already recommended it twice to friends downsizing. I did make 2 customizations: 1) I added a canvas floor simply by using a paint canvas ($20) and a stole gun. This keeps the stored items off the floor and moving when the bed needs to be moved, and 2) I added a double strip of the same canvas across the back from the headboard to the floor. I have cats and they thought getting behind/under was such fun. Problems solved - $20 and under an hour. Highly recommend this bed - great for off-season storage and quite chic.

It took about 90 minutes to assemble with two people but wasn't difficult. The lift feature is awesome and easy to use. Makes the storage under the bed so much more accessible and easy to keep organized. Great quality and it looks really nice.
