Rest Haven 5" Gel Memory Foam Mattress, Twin

I waited the full 48 hours before I laid on this mattress and I think I'll just lay here 48 hours. This mattress is SO DARN comfortable. I injured my back last year so laying down has been a challenge for me.. I got this mattress until I can buy another mattress because I would l would like to buy a more expensive option to address my back issues. I will not be in a rush. Looking at it I kept referring to it as a "jail cot". You can't go by the looks but I do suggest leaving a space heater in the room during the 48 hour period because by the other reviews I've read and how mine feels I am sure me keeping the room warm and not touching the mattress at all for 48 hours helped.. I am impressed. BTW I never write reviews..

I was very pleased to be offered this Rest Haven 5" Gel Memory Foam Mattress to review as we are having guests for the holidays and were wondering what they could sleep on. Both of our inflatable beds have leaks, and I have not found time to isolate the holes and patch them yet. This will be a definite step up from an inflatable bed anyway. One thing to note is that the mattress I received does not say "Rest Haven" brand on it. It states that it is made by "Linenspa." It appears to be the same mattress as offered by the Walmart Spark Reviewer Program. This mattress measures 80" x 39" x 5". It arrived all rolled up and compressed in a box, so it took approximately 24 hours to decompress or expand itself to the full 5" height. As can be seen in my photo, it does measure 5" high. This bed is most ideal for a child, bunk beds, or guests. If using directly on the floor, I threw a flat sheet on the floor first before putting the mattress on top of it to keep it clean. I would not use this as a memory foam mattress topper, as it is too solid for that. I think that mattress toppers have less high density foam than this mattress does. This mattress is 4" of high density base foam for support and stability. It then has one inch of gel-infused and ventilated foam on the top and a polyester blend, quilted cover. It weighs approximately 21 lbs. Since we have company arriving on Wednesday for Thanksgiving, I wanted to test out this mattress first. I tossed a sheet and some blankets on it last night and gave it a try. It was actually very nice and much more comfortable than the inflatable mattresses are. Also, if you have cats, they cannot stick their claws into this mattress and "deflate" it as ours did to the inflatable mattresses. This is a great purchase for what you are getting. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.
